Home for orphans, schools for the deprived, and colleges for lower-class students, Y& M Anjuman Khairul Islam is striving for the welfare of both the privileged and the underprivileged alike.
Between the not-so-easy-to-get-into convents and mushrooming but unaffordable Islamic Schools, Y & M AKI is serving the community with 5 orphanages, 40 Primary and secondary schools, and 25 Institutes and colleges to its credit.
Established in the pre-Independence era i.e. in 1927, AKI is serving nearly 30000 students and 1000 orphans.

AKI's Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) completed a successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Harvard Business School Publishing Corporation on Thursday, 22nd August 2024. This landmark agreement marks a significant leap in PIMSE's efforts to enhance its global presence and launch of AKI GLOBAL through academic offerings.
