Home for orphans, schools for the deprived, and colleges for lower-class students, Y& M Anjuman Khairul Islam is striving for the welfare of both the privileged and the underprivileged alike.
Between the not-so-easy-to-get-into convents and mushrooming but unaffordable Islamic Schools, Y & M AKI is serving the community with 4 orphanages, 37 Primary and secondary schools, and 9 Institutes and colleges to its credit.
Established in the pre-Independence era i.e. in 1927, AKI is serving nearly 22000 students and 700 orphans.

NAAC Accredited A+ to AKI's Poona College of Arts Science & Commerce
Anjuman Khairul Islam’s Poona College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Camp, Pune has been awarded the rating of Grade ‘A+’ by the prestigious National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the third cycle of re-accreditation. The college scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.27 on 4-point scale. AKI's Super 30 in Mahabaleshwar
AKI has started its residential AKI Super-30 to prepare students for NEET at its Mahabaleshwar Campus. The National Eligibility Entrance Test is the all India Pre-medical Test (AIPMT) to qualify for admissions in medical colleges. it has a lodging and boarding facilities along with professional Teachers and library.
Air Hospitality and Management
AKI has started Air hospitality course @ Nagpada Mumbai.
Vocational Training Course
AKI has started Vocational Training Center at 4 of its campuses, Mumbai, Pune, Mahabaleshwar, Goregaon for SSC and HSC pass students, enabling them to get jobs. It is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra. Paramedical Courses are 1- physiotherapy 2- Dietitian & Nutrition 3- Medical Lab Technician 3- Dialysis Technology.
