BOARDING REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2019-2020

Y& M ANJUMAN KHAIRUL ISLAM  is dedicated to the cause of orphans and education. We have had our boarding orphanage running in Mahabaleshwar since 1967 by the respected trustees(May Allah bless them for their valuable contribution) . Students from the Mumbai slum areas, Raigad dist, Satara, and wai  are given admission to this orphanage 

In our orphanage, we give admission to students from the age of 4-17 years along with the facilities of food, clothing, shelter,, and equal opportunity for quality education. They are also competing in sports and all other co-curricular and extracurricular activities representing the school. The boarding also provides training programs in Archery, Fencing, etc. Also this year we have started a course of Hifz-E-Quran for 14 students on the campus itself for the boarding students. We also arrange Deeniyat Programmes for the students from time to time. Additional training is also provided to students interested in drawing, speech, handwriting, etc.

In our orphanage, we also organize short outings and trips for the students so that they feel homely. We take them to the gardens, parks, etc for their enjoyment and refreshment. We take them to restaurants so that they learn the manners and etiquette of how to behave in society. This year our 389  students went to the Domino's shop where they not only enjoyed the pizza but they prepared and baked the pizza by themselves, for which they received a certificate from Domino's.

In our orphanage not only Muslims but non-muslims also come and interact with the students they spend time with them with some exciting activities and eatables.Also, students from other schools in the surrounding areas visit the school and interact with our students. We have also started a mini hospital with the basic facilities for which we have appointed two doctors Mr. Arbaz. Dange for the gents and Mrs. Suvarna Yadav for the ladies , who attend to the students from time to time.

This year we have also started a D.T.P   Computer course for 25 boarding students free of cost so that they can be perfect at operating the computers, Which will help them in the near future. After  SSC we also provide higher education to these orphans free of cost.

Overall this year our orphanage has progressed a lot and the students are also coming out with flying colors in each and every activity of the school. Their confidence has increased a lot and they are ready to face the world with new hopes and enthusiasm, as we take care of their overall development. And all this is happening because of the extra efforts and clear vision of our Boarding Superintendent Mrs. Shabana . A.I.Shaikh and her entire Boarding staff working here.
